About Prof. Gaur

Prof. Sanjiv Gaur is a Past President of the Central Zone of IOA, the MP Chapter of IOA, the National Association of Interlocking Surgeons (NAILS) and the MP Teachers’ Association. He served on the IOA Executive Committee (2009–12) and was Organising Chairman of CEZCON 2022 and NAILSCON 2019, both in Bhopal.

He is Professor and former Head of Orthopaedics, Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal. He holds an MS from PGI Chandigarh, the DNB, and an MCh from the University of Liverpool. He was Registrar at AIIMS, New Delhi, and Trueta Fellow at Oxford. He has taught postgraduates for more than 30 years, has more than 60 publications, including papers in JBJS (Br), Acta Orthopaedica Scandinavica and Injury, and has delivered the Dr S.C. Goel Oration and the Dr R.K. Murthy Oration.
